Buns
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Pampushki are sweet buns made from rich yeast dough, which can vary in size and shape. What they all have in common is that they are made from yeast dough, turning out sweet, aromatic, and fluffy. A classic pampushka is a plain bun without filling, made only from dough with sugar. But I decided to experiment and added a couple of my favorite ingredients. Today I want to share this recipe with you. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Prepare the starter: in a dry container, mix dry yeast and milk, then leave in a warm place for 5–10 minutes.
- 2
Step 2
Melt the butter (85 grams), add the egg yolk, and whisk well with a whisk.
- 3
Step 3
Sift the flour and add salt. Add the sponge starter and the egg-butter mixture. Mix thoroughly and knead the dough until smooth. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a bowl, cover, and set in a warm place for 40–60 minutes.

Step 4
Let's prepare the filling: grate the chocolate finely. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
- 5
Step 5
After the dough has risen and doubled in volume, take it out and divide it into 8–10 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then roll it out with a rolling pin into a flat round, spread the filling on it, and sprinkle chocolate on top.

Step 6
Next, roll the flatbread into a log and cut it in half lengthwise. Take 2 pieces, twist them together into a rope, and shape into a ring. Place the shaped buns on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Step 7
When the buns have risen, brush them with butter mixed with cinnamon and sugar, then place them in a preheated oven at 200°C for 5-7 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 180°C and bake for another 10-12 minutes. Remove the buns from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
