Cottage cheese bun

Description

For the filling, you can use any sweet cheese. In most cases, regular cottage cheese is used, which is rubbed or blended in a blender. To it, add various spices, such as cinnamon or vanilla. The buns are usually made small, but there are recipes where they resemble a small pie. I usually add raisins to only half of the filling. As you can understand, this amount of ingredients is enough for a large group. Therefore, if desired, you can proportionally reduce the quantity of ingredients. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

    Warm the milk and pour it into a bowl, add the yeast and mix, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar. Set the bowl aside for 10 minutes.

    After 10 minutes, add 3 chicken eggs, a pinch of salt, slightly less than half of the sugar, and mayonnaise, then mix.

    Sift the flour and gradually add it to the bowl in portions, kneading the dough. Pour in the vegetable oil at the very end. Knead the dough for about 10-15 minutes, then leave it to rest in a warm place for 1 hour.

    Divide the dough into 30 equal parts, roll each into a ball and flatten. Place the buns on a baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes. After half an hour, use a glass to make an indentation in the center of each bun.

    In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese and cream cheese, beat everything with a mixer, then add the remaining sugar and 2 eggs.

    Fill half of the buns with the prepared filling, then mix raisins into the remaining filling and use it to fill the second half of the buns.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 175-180 degrees Celsius for about 30-40 minutes. Let the pastry cool before serving.
