Braided pizza with filling
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Prepare pizza dough using your favorite recipe; I have a universal one suitable for any pizza: ½ cup milk, 15 g fresh yeast, a pinch of sugar and salt, 1.5–2 cups flour. In this recipe, I use one type of cheese, but it's not mandatory—you can add grated mozzarella inside and sprinkle Parmesan on top. With these ingredients, you can make 2 large braided loaves. Let's see how it's done.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

So, prepare the pizza ingredients: dough, sausage, and cheese. I've previously made a mixture of butter with chopped garlic and herbs, which I'll use to brush the pizzas before baking.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, and a small portion on a fine grater—this will be used for topping. Cut the smoked sausage into small cubes. Mix the cheese and sausage together.

Step 3

Divide the dough (300 g) into 6 parts, roll each part into a long thin strip. Place the cheese and sausage filling on each strip.
- 4
Step 4

Carefully pinch the edge. Turn the strips seam side down.
- 5
Step 5

Braid three strips together. Pinch the edges tightly on both sides.
- 6
Step 6

Line the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it with vegetable oil. Transfer the braids to the baking sheets, generously brush the tops with garlic and parsley butter, then generously sprinkle with grated cheese.

Step 7

Bake the pizza at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes, depending on your oven. Serve the pizza hot!
