Pumpkin Placindas
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Traditionally, Moldovan pancakes come in two shapes—round and square. Almost any ingredients can be used as a filling for these pies. Plăcinte are usually made with yeast dough, though sometimes puff pastry is used. They can be fried in a pan or baked on a sheet in the oven, after brushing the surface with egg. Serve them cooled or slightly warm.

Step 3

3. Divide the finished dough into equal parts. You should get 16-18 pieces.

4. Roll out each portion and place grated pumpkin on one edge, sprinkling it with sugar. Now, seal the edges very well. In Moldovan cuisine, placinte are rolled out the same way, but the filling is placed in the center and the edges are sealed from four sides toward the center.
