Platsints with kefir
Description
The dough made with kefir turns out very tender and tasty. For the filling you can choose: mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, meat, pumpkin, apples, eggs, etc. Today I have a delicious and juicy version with stewed cabbage.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the flour into a deep bowl, add salt, sugar, and baking soda.
- 3
Step 3

Make an indentation and pour the kefir into the hollow.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything first with a spoon and pour in the oil.
- 5
Step 5

Then knead a soft and elastic dough by hand. Gather it into a ball, brush it with butter, cover it, and start preparing the filling.
- 6
Step 6

I sautéed sliced onion in a pan, added shredded cabbage, salt, pepper to taste, and simmered everything together until soft. You can prepare any other filling to your liking.
- 7
Step 7

Divide the dough into 6–8 pieces.
- 8
Step 8

Roll out each piece with a butter‑greased rolling pin. Place the filling in the center. Then make cuts along the edges with a knife in the shape of rays, stopping just short of the filling.
- 9
Step 9

Fold the dough to the middle, covering the filling.
- 10
Step 10

Flip and gently flatten the flatbread with a rolling pin or by hand.
- 11
Step 11

Heat oil in a pan and place the flatbread seam side down. Fry over heat slightly less than medium under a lid on both sides until golden brown.
- 12
Step 12

Placindas with kefir are ready.
- 13
Step 13

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
