Moldovan placinte
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Pile the flour into a mound on a clean table, then add eggs, a tablespoon of butter, and milk. Use enough milk to achieve a moderately thick dough. Knead the dough thoroughly, cover it with a cloth, and let it rest in a warm place for 30 minutes. Mix the cottage cheese with salt, sugar, and a pinch of flour until smooth. Roll out the dough thinly and cut it into equal circles (using a cutter works best). Place the cottage cheese filling in the center of each circle. Brush the edges with beaten egg and fold them towards the center to form an octagon. Brush the placindas with egg, prick the centers with a fork, and bake in the oven for several minutes. Once baked, brush the pastries with butter and stack them in a deep dish. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.
