Sugar-Free Apple Puree
Description
First of all, sugar-free apple puree made at home is incredibly delicious, and secondly, surprisingly delicious. You can make this puree for winter, or treat your children and family to it. Whether to add sugar or not is up to you. If you make it with sugar, for 2 kg of apples use 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.
Instructions

Step 1

1. The most important thing in this recipe is to prepare the apples correctly. I usually use sweet varieties, since I don't add sugar.
- 2
Step 2

2. Be sure to peel each apple. Only then can you wash and continue preparing them.
- 3
Step 3

3. Place the peeled and sliced apples in a saucepan. Add water and set over heat. Cook until they have broken down completely. You’ll see it right away—they’ll become soft and start turning into a smooth, uniform mass.

Step 4

4. After that, remove them from the heat and blend in a blender. Pour into jars (prepared in advance), sterilize each for about 5–7 minutes, and seal.

Step 5

5. Set aside part in a cool place; the remaining unsweetened homemade apple puree is ready to use right away.

Step 6

6. If you are not cooking in bulk, you can simply peel the apples, blend them until smooth, and eat right away.
