Black currant puree
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Personally, I really love all kinds of baked goods. But while in summer and autumn there are plenty of ingredients for fillings, in winter I had to tighten my belt. Then I found this wonderful and simple black currant puree recipe, and now I never hesitate to make such preserves for winter! By the way, if you feel this black currant puree recipe isn't good enough for long-term storage, you can boil the berries and can them. But even without that, the puree keeps perfectly for me. The preserve is ready for winter storage.

3. Divide among clean jars and seal with sterile lids. Store in the refrigerator; you may also store in the freezer, but in that case the puree should be poured into special plastic containers suitable for freezing. I do not keep such puree for more than three months.
