Description
The recipe won't take much time. This recipe yields 10 pastries weighing 70 g each. Preparation: In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, and eggs with a wooden spatula until smooth. Add flour and knead the dough by hand. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 7–8 mm and cut out rounds using a round cutter or a glass. Using a smaller cutter, make a hole in the center of each round. Place on a baking sheet. Mix ground almonds with sugar. Brush the rounds with egg yolk and sprinkle with the almond mixture. Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake at 240–250°C for 15–20 minutes, until golden brown. Serve cooled.
