Description
The recipe won't take much time. This dessert has conquered the whole world—it's light and delicate. It's important to follow the recipe carefully, as the dessert requires effort and patience. Macarons are filled with an equally delicate cream. But it should be noted that even without the cream, these almond cookies are incredibly delicious. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Combine almond flour with powdered sugar and sift twice through a sieve into a bowl.
- 2
Step 2
Place the egg whites in the mixer bowl, beat at maximum speed, and gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
- 3
Step 3
When stiff peaks form, gradually add the almond flour and powdered sugar in portions.
- 4
Step 4
Turn off the mixer and use a spatula to scrape the dough from the sides, mixing it from top to bottom to aerate (for colored dough, add food coloring).
- 5
Step 5
Transfer the dough into a piping bag. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pipe the dough into evenly sized rounds. Grab the baking sheet with both hands and tap it against the table to level the surface of the dough pieces.
- 6
Step 6
Leave the tray at room temperature for 15-60 minutes until a thin crust forms, then place it in a preheated oven at 135-140°C for 3 minutes, leaving the door slightly ajar.
- 7
Step 7
Close the oven and bake for another 15-16 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool. If desired, you can join the cookie halves together with any cream or jam.
