Description
Potato cakes in the USSR were made from rich croutons. It is with them that you can achieve the crumbly, grainy texture of this dessert. The cake recipe is unique, very simple, and costs pennies. No baking required; in just a few minutes you’ll have excellent cakes. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Take the ingredients for preparing the “Kartoshka” pastry.

Grind the rich breadcrumbs in a blender or meat grinder.

Put the sugar into a small saucepan or a pot with a thick bottom.

Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
