Description
The recipe won't take much time. I want to share an interesting and actually simple option. Serve chilled.
Instructions

Step 1

1. First, turn on the oven and let it preheat to 190 degrees. Beat softened butter with sugar, then add eggs and 1 yolk, continuing to beat. Sift flour with salt and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients, pouring in milk as you go. Pour the finished batter into a baking pan (a square one works best) and place it in the oven.

Step 2

2. Pour a small amount of boiling water over the coffee and let it steep.
- 3
Step 3

3. In a small saucepan, bring a cup of water to a boil and dissolve sugar in it. Pour into the coffee and stir. Add amaretto or any other preferred alcohol to taste. The coffee syrup for soaking the cake layers is ready.

Step 4

4. Let the finished crust cool and remove it from the pan. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.

Step 5

5. To make the cream, beat mascarpone with powdered sugar. Add vanilla for flavor. Separately, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Combine it with the mascarpone and mix well.

Step 6

6. Use cutters to cut small shapes from the dough. If you don't have cutters, use tin cans—for example, cut off the bottom beforehand.

Step 7

7. And now it's very simple: quickly dip the cake layer into the coffee syrup (or brush it on with a pastry brush) and spread with cream. Place another cake layer on top, then add more cream. Generously dust the top with cocoa powder. And that's it — such a delicious treat! Let it sit for at least 2–3 hours before serving, so the dessert can fully absorb the flavors.
