Canadian Nanaimo bars are made without baking, and they’re quite simple. They’re like a three-layer “bar.” Follow the step-by-step recipe and try this interesting Canadian dessert, which is very popular in its homeland.

Prepare the ingredients.

Grind the wafers or cookies in a blender.

Chop not too finely so that small pieces remain.

Chop the nuts (any kind); likewise, not too finely.

To make the first layer, melt the butter and sugar in a double boiler.

To make chocolate glaze, melt the chocolate in a double boiler, then add the butter.
