Description

The recipe won’t take much time. Who could resist colorful, tempting little strawberries, especially when they’re made at home with love! Treat your family or friends to such an unusual pastry, or make the dessert together with them. You can shape the little strawberries ahead of time and keep them in the refrigerator, and decorate them right before serving.

    Prepare the ingredients listed. Buy light-colored waffles, not chocolate ones. You can get beet juice by grating fresh or roasted beet on a grater ahead of time and squeezing it.

    Break the wafers into small pieces so they grind well in a blender or food processor bowl.

    Place them in a food processor or blender bowl and press down lightly.

    Pulse everything for 3–5 minutes in pulse mode. Even if the waffles have a filling, they will break down nicely—don’t worry!

    Pour the waffle crumbs into a salad bowl or a deep bowl, and add the sour cream to the same bowl. Do not add sugar or powdered sugar, because the mixture will already turn out very sweet.

    Thoroughly knead the entire mixture. Wet your hands with water and divide the sweet mixture into equal portions. Roll them into round little strawberry-shaped balls.
