Classic pastry
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This dessert will delight both adults and children. You can optionally add brandy, as I did. However, if children are going to eat the dessert, it's best not to add it. The sweet treat goes wonderfully with tea and coffee :) Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

We start preparing the legendary cookies by gathering the necessary ingredients. Pass the cookies through a meat grinder or crush them into crumbs using a blender.
- 2
Step 2

Now we proceed to mix condensed milk, softened butter, and cocoa powder in a separate container.
- 3
Step 3

Now add the cognac to the mixture and stir thoroughly until smooth. The consistency should resemble chocolate paste.
- 4
Step 4

Now add the cookies, previously crushed into fine crumbs, to the chocolate base. Mix everything thoroughly again.
- 5
Step 5

First, mix the dough with a spoon, then you can knead it by hand. Divide the finished dough into 8–10 pieces, then shape each piece into a ball.
- 6
Step 6

The finished potatoes will look approximately like this.
- 7
Step 7

Now it is necessary to roll each pastry in cocoa powder. To prevent the cocoa from melting in your hands, you can mix it beforehand with a small amount of powdered sugar. Place the "potatoes" in the refrigerator or freezer for 10 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

After the time has elapsed, remove the dessert from the freezer and decorate with marzipan or walnut kernels, arranging them to resemble eyes.
