"Malutka" Mix Pastry
Description
The dessert is simple and quick to prepare. Unlike the classic version, I don't recommend adding nuts to this "Potato" dessert made with "Malyutka" mix, as they can be allergens. Instead, you can use pieces of dry baby cookies, for example. 1. Place butter and sugar into a small saucepan. Heat over medium flame, stirring constantly, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves. 2. Separately, bring the milk to a boil. 3. Add the "Malyutka" mix to the melted butter mixture and stir well. Then pour in the hot milk. 4. Add 2–3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 3–5 minutes. 5. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool down. 6. With slightly damp hands, shape the mixture into small balls or bars. 7. Pour some cocoa powder onto a small plate and roll each "Potato" sweet in it, coating evenly on all sides. 8. Place the finished sweets in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Before serving, you can decorate them with cream or cocoa-based icing made with butter. Here's an easy, no-fuss dessert for little ones.
