Blackcurrant buns made from yeast dough

Description

The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Here is a recipe for currant buns made with yeast dough. They turn out very tasty, as both cherries and currants are quite tart berries on their own, but when combined with soft, fluffy sweet dough, they taste absolutely perfect together. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    1. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast and 50 grams of sugar in it. When the starter begins to foam slightly, add flour, eggs, and butter. Knead until smooth dough forms and let it rise in a warm place for one hour. Once risen, knead it again, divide into equal portions, and roll each portion into a flat round.
