
Egg and Green Onion Pastries (Simple Recipe)
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. A great option for homemade stuffed buns. You can optionally add rice to make the buns more filling. Prepare the dough. To do this, mix eggs, sugar, salt, and milk. Add yeast, sifted flour, and margarine grated on a grater. Knead the dough, then cover it with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for one hour. Then punch down the dough and leave it to rise for another hour. Repeat this process 3-4 times before rolling it out.

Boil the eggs hard, wash the green onions under water, dry them, and chop. By this time, the dough should have already risen.

Mix the eggs and green onions. Divide the dough into several portions and roll each into a flat round. Place the filling in the center of each round. Pinch the edges together and place the buns onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let the buns rise for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the buns until done. Check for doneness by the golden-brown crust that will form on their surface. This will take about 20–25 minutes.
