Apple pies in a multicooker
Description
When preparing dough for pies, it is worth taking the following points into account. Since cottage cheese has varying moisture content and flour has varying gluten content, you may need more flour. Therefore, add the flour in portions. If the dough is very soft, has a spreadable consistency, and does not hold its shape, confidently add more. Aim for a soft, slightly sticky consistency. You should not overpack the dough with flour either, as the pies may turn out dense and gummy. Excess liquid must be removed from the filling. So, if the apples are very juicy, drain off the juice before placing the filling on the dough. Taking these nuances into account, the baked goods will definitely delight you with their taste. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, and sugar. Mix with a fork.
- 3
Step 3

Add the flour and baking powder.
- 4
Step 4

Start kneading the dough with a fork.
- 5
Step 5

The finished dough should be soft, pliable, and only slightly sticky to your hands. You should not overload it with flour, as this may affect the flavor of the pies. Put the finished dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

While the dough is "resting," make the filling. Peel the apples and remove the cores. Grate them on a coarse grater. Transfer to a saucepan or frying pan, add sugar. Heat until the liquid evaporates. Then remove from the heat and let cool.
- 7
Step 7

After the time has passed, take the dough out of the refrigerator. It may become noticeably softer, so if necessary, knead in a little flour so it returns to the consistency it had before chilling. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Roll each part into a small log.
- 8
Step 8

Divide each roll into 6 pieces. Coat in flour.
- 9
Step 9

Turn on the multicooker. Heat a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil in the bowl. When the oil is hot, start shaping the pies. It is best to bake 3 pies at a time, so make only the amount you are going to bake. Flatten a small round of dough with your hands and place a tablespoon of filling in the center.
- 10
Step 10

Shape the pies, carefully sealing the seam.
- 11
Step 11

Place the prepared pies into the multicooker bowl. Fry each side for 7–10 minutes until golden brown. Keep the multicooker closed.
- 12
Step 12

Place the finished pies on a serving dish. They can be served either slightly warm or completely cooled.
- 13
Step 13

The baking is ready. Serve with tea.
