Cottage cheese buns from yeast dough
Description
Delicious pastries for the whole family. These rose-shaped buns will delight you early in the morning. Make them for breakfast or dinner. Very tasty served cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Dust the yeast dough with flour and roll it out.
- 2
Step 2

Divide into many small balls.
- 3
Step 3

Prepare the filling. Mix the cottage cheese, sugar, and egg white.
- 4
Step 4

Roll each ball into a circle.
- 5
Step 5

Make three cuts. The center should remain intact. Place a teaspoon of the cottage cheese mixture in the middle of the pancake. I should note separately that the sugar in the cottage cheese will immediately start drawing out the whey. Therefore, it's better to shape the pastries quickly before the cottage cheese starts to leak.
- 6
Step 6

Lift one end of the crepe (small). Wrap it around the filling, joining the two edges together.
- 7
Step 7

Lift the second sector and also join the edges.
- 8
Step 8

Take the largest sector, pull it by two edges, and wrap it around the previous two. Secure it.
- 9
Step 9

Place the buns on a baking sheet (greased and lined with parchment paper). Let the buns rise for 10 minutes. Brush with beaten egg yolk. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the buns for 15 minutes.
- 10
Step 10

Let the buns cool down. Hot dough is not healthy. Serve them slightly warm.
