
Mushroom buns
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Of course, almost everyone loves buns, but not everyone enjoys making them. Fortunately, nowadays you can buy ready-made dough in any store, turning the cooking process into a real celebration. In this easy recipe for mushroom buns, I use exactly such ready-made dough, so the buns turn out not only delicious but also quick to prepare. Overall, it's a great option for dinner or even a festive lunch that won't take much of your time, yet the result will amaze you and your guests. With this mushroom bun recipe, you can easily throw a real feast. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

First, sauté the mushrooms together with the onion in vegetable oil. When cooled, add a spoonful of sour cream and chopped herbs, season with salt and mix. Now take one sheet of dough and roll it out into a rectangle. Cut the rectangle into 8 squares, then cut each square in half to make 2 triangles. Do the same with the second sheet of dough. I use a special decorative knife for cutting, so the buns turn out very attractive.

Mix the yolk with a small amount of water and brush the edges of each triangle with this mixture. Place 1-1.5 teaspoons of mushroom filling in the center of the triangle and top it with a piece of cheese.

Now we need to fold the turnover into a triangle. To do this, we bring together the sharp corners of our triangle and press them slightly on the sides.

Place the buns on a baking sheet (you should have 32 in total), brush the tops with egg yolk, and put them into a preheated oven at 190°C for 15–20 minutes. Once the buns are golden brown, take them out and serve.
