Description

Homemade pastries for tea. I think everyone loves buns without exception, but when it comes to choosing a filling, everyone has their own preferences. Some prefer meat, others mushrooms or vegetables, many opt for sweet fillings with fruits or jam, but today I want to tell you about mine.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

First, heat the water to 30-35 degrees and pour it into a large container, in which you will later mix the dough, then add the dry yeast to the water.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour in vegetable oil, add salt and sugar.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Now add 2-3 cups of sifted flour and mix everything thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Then, gradually add the remaining flour to the sticky dough and knead with your hands to form a thick, elastic dough. Cover it with a towel and set aside in a warm place for a while.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

While the dough is rising, we will prepare the filling. First, cook the rice until fully done.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan and sauté the onion until translucent.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Open the canned fish, drain the liquid, and transfer it together with the onion to the bowl with rice.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

Mix all the ingredients, add salt and pepper if needed.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

When the dough has doubled in volume (this usually takes 30–40 minutes), we knead it down and place it back in a warm spot.

  11. 11

    Step 11

    Step 11

Now it should double in size again.

  12. 12

    Step 12

    Step 12

Our dough is now ready for further work. Therefore, we oil our hands and the surface where we'll be working with vegetable oil. Then we tear off small pieces of dough and shape them into balls about 4 cm in diameter. We place the balls onto the oiled surface and let them rise for 10-15 minutes. After this time has passed, we take the first ball and roll it out into a flat round shape, placing a little filling (a tablespoon) in the center.

  13. 13

    Step 13

    Step 13

Seal the edges of the dough tightly, making sure there are no holes. Repeat the same with all the dough, placing the buns on a baking sheet or any other surface greased with vegetable oil.

  14. 14

    Step 14

    Step 14

Pour plenty of vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it well. Place the buns into the pan with the seam side down.

  15. 15

    Step 15

    Step 15

As soon as the buns are browned, flip them over to the other side.

  16. 16

    Step 16

    Step 16

Place the finished buns on paper towels to remove excess oil, then serve at the table and enjoy. Everyone, bon appétit!
