Description

This recipe won't take much time. 1. Slightly warm the milk and add the yeast. Add sugar, mix well, and set aside. 2. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly. 3. Beat the eggs in a small bowl. 4. Once the yeast mixture starts to bubble, add the melted butter and eggs to it. 5. Gradually add flour sifted with salt, kneading the dough. The dough should be soft, elastic, not stiff, and not sticky to the hands. You can also use yeast-free dough for making rice and onion buns. 6. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place. 7. Place rice in cold water and bring to a boil. 8. After boiling, add a pinch of salt and cook for about 5 minutes, then cool thoroughly. 9. Wash the green onion stalks and dry well. 10. Cool the rice and mix it with chopped green onions. 11. To make the filling even more interesting, you can add boiled egg, diced, to the rice and onion filling when making buns at home. 12. Once the dough has risen, divide it into small balls. 13. Roll each ball out and place the filling in the center. 14. Seal the edges tightly, place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, and brush the tops with egg yolk for a golden color. 15. Bake the buns in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes. That's the whole simple recipe for rice and onion buns. This is an affordable and very tasty version of homemade baking. Serve with tea or coffee.
