Meat buns baked in the oven
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. 1. First, prepare the sponge. Mix warm milk with sugar and a small amount of flour. Add yeast and stir. Set aside for a while. 2. Beat eggs with a pinch of salt and add to the yeast mixture. Pour in melted butter. Add sifted flour and knead the dough. To ensure soft meat buns when baked in the oven at home, it's important not to overdo the flour and make the dough too stiff. Place the dough in a warm spot, cover with a towel, and let it rise for about 1 hour. 3. This time is enough to prepare the filling. Wash and dry the pork and beef. Cut into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder. Pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan and lightly sauté the minced meat. 4. Peel the onion and chop into small cubes. Optionally, you can pass the onion through the meat grinder together with the meat. Add the onion to the pan and cook together with the meat until done. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Once the dough has risen, divide it into equal portions. 6. Flatten each piece with your hands (there's no need to roll it out with a rolling pin, as the dough is quite tender). Place the filling in the center. 7. Seal the edges tightly and place them seam-side down on a greased baking sheet or one lined with parchment paper. 8. That's all there is to making meat buns in the oven. Bake until golden brown. Serve with tea or coffee.
