Description

Homemade baked goods for tea. Brazil and Russia are separated by thousands of kilometers, yet for some surprising reason Brazilian cuisine has a great deal in common with Russian cuisine. For example, the chicken-and-potato pies I describe in this recipe are traditionally Brazilian (as far as I know, they are made for some specific Brazilian holiday), yet they closely resemble traditional Russian pies. The ingredients are simple, and the cooking method is perfectly familiar—I see no reason not to make them :) Give them a try; you are sure to enjoy chicken-and-potato pies. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.
