Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of warm milk, 1/4 teaspoon salt, sugar, yeast, and 8 tablespoons of flour.
- 2
Step 2

Wait for 10 minutes; the yeast should become foamy. Cover the container with a lid or a towel. Meanwhile, while the yeast is foaming, use a whisk or hand mixer: in another bowl, mix 1 cup of warm milk, sour cream, butter, eggs, and salt. Add 2½ cups of flour and stir with a whisk. Now add the prepared yeast.
- 3
Step 3

Whisk with a whisk and gradually add the remaining flour, then mix thoroughly again.
- 4
Step 4

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm spot. To help the dough rise faster, cover it with a warm blanket over the plastic wrap. Let it sit for an hour.
- 5
Step 5

The dough will be sticky, so grease your hands with oil to prevent the dough from sticking. Dust the cutting board with flour. Pinch off a piece of dough the size of a tennis ball and use your fingers to roll it out slightly on the board. Now place about 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
- 6
Step 6

Now, firmly press the dough together on both sides.
- 7
Step 7

Dredge well in flour and roll on the board to seal the seam tightly. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough and filling.
- 8
Step 8

Heat a pan with a generous amount of oil over high heat. Place the buns seam-side down into the pan, then fry the second side. Transfer them onto a large plate lined with paper towel to absorb excess oil.
