
Blueberry pastries made from shortcrust dough
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. We prepare the dough and berries. Shape the pastries, fill them with blueberries and sugar, and bake in the oven.

Sift rye flour into a deep bowl. Add salt and sugar.

Add baking soda to the kefir and mix well. Add kefir, egg, and vegetable oil to the flour mixture.

Knead the dough until it is not sticky to the hands. Divide the dough into small portions. Roll each portion into a circle with a rolling pin. Place berries in the center of the dough. Shape the pastries into either round or oval forms.

Place the finished rye turnovers on a baking sheet previously greased with vegetable oil. If desired, sprinkle the berries with sugar. Put the baking sheet with the buns into the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes at 180-200 degrees.
