Step 1

Heat the water to a temperature of 37°C. Crumble the yeast into a bowl, pour warm water over it, and stir until dissolved. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and butter. Take a large bowl, break the eggs into it, add the sugar and butter mixture, then gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well and knead the dough by hand for about 10 minutes, or use a food processor and knead for 5 minutes. After that, let the dough rest for about 40 minutes. For the filling, mix marzipan, sugar, and butter.

Step 2

Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out into rectangles measuring 40x60 cm.
- 3
Step 3

Spread half of the marzipan mixture along the length of half of the rectangle. On top, spread the blueberry jam.
- 4
Step 4

Fold the dough in half so that the part without filling covers the side with the filling.
- 5
Step 5

Along the short side, cut the dough into strips 2–3 cm wide.
- 6
Step 6

Each strip should be cut as follows: starting from the free edge and leaving about one centimeter before the fold, cut the dough in the middle.
- 7
Step 7

Roll each strip into a spiral.
- 8
Step 8

Connect the ends of each spiral, forming circles.

Step 9

Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the buns for about 8–10 minutes. Brush the baked goods with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
