Bun with white mushrooms
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Soak dried white mushrooms, then boil them a little. If using fresh mushrooms, slice and cook for about 15 minutes. For the filling, you can also use mushrooms sautéed with onions. It's easiest to use ready-made store-bought dough. Shape the buns, fill them with the filling, and bake for about 20 minutes in the oven. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

To make our buns with white mushrooms, take an onion and chop it into small cubes.
- 2
Step 2

Slice the mushrooms into pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the fresh (peeled) white mushrooms into cubes. Pour boiling water over the dried white mushrooms. Let them soak. Then boil in water for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Fry the onion in vegetable oil, add the mushrooms and sauté together with the onion. Add the boiled sliced mushrooms to the pan. Sauté everything together, then add salt and pepper to the filling. Turn off the heat.

Step 5

Roll out the puff pastry into a sheet. Cut it into squares. Place the prepared filling in the center of each square. Bring together two opposite corners to form a triangular-shaped turnover.
- 6
Step 6

Place all shaped buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with beaten egg.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the buns until done and serve them either hot or cooled. Both options are delicious.
