
Pirozhki from Miracle Dough
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. These pies are made much faster than regular yeast ones; there is no need to wait for the dough to rise. If you prepare the filling in advance, the whole process will take only 50–60 minutes at most. In any case, first make the filling, then knead the dough and immediately start baking. The most suitable filling for these pies is potatoes, boiled meat or fish, pea puree, eggs with onions and rice. Thanks to the large amount of butter in the dough, the baked goods turn out tender, flaky, and crumbly. In short, it is worth making. The pastry is ready. Serve to the table.

Prepare the ingredients for making pirozhki.

Put the yeast into a bowl.

Add warm milk and sugar. Mix well with the yeast.

Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, and pour it into the bowl with the milk, yeast, and sugar.

Let it sit for 10–15 minutes, until the yeast becomes foamy.

Gradually add the sifted flour to the bowl.

Knead a soft, elastic dough.

Prepare the filling for the pies. Finely chop the onion and fry it until translucent.

Prepare mashed potatoes and add fried onions to them.

Grind the boiled chicken in a blender or meat grinder. Add it to the onion puree.
