Fried cabbage-filled buns
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I offer you a simple recipe for fried cabbage-filled buns, which, as you may notice, contains only three main ingredients. I spend minimal time preparing them because I buy ready-made dough, and after that there's almost nothing left to do. So I suggest you also keep this classic recipe for fried cabbage buns in mind. Serve them cooled down or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Dice the onion into small pieces.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop the cabbage.
- 3
Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the cabbage. Fry over low heat until it becomes semi-transparent.
- 4
Step 4

Add the onion to the fried cabbage.
- 5
Step 5

Stirring, fry the cabbage with the onion until fully cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 6
Step 6

Now we start shaping the buns: take a small piece of dough and roll it out with a rolling pin (or simply flatten it with your hands—I usually do it this way). Place the onion and cabbage filling in the center.
- 7
Step 7

Seal the edges of our pie very tightly so they don't come apart during frying.
- 8
Step 8

Place the buns on the preheated skillet with the seam side down.
- 9
Step 9

Sear on all sides. Remove excess oil using a paper towel.
