Instructions

Step 1

1. The recipe for frying pan-fried buns begins, of course, with the dough. Warm the milk slightly and add sugar and a packet of dry yeast to it. Mix thoroughly until the sugar and yeast dissolve, then pour into a bowl with a small amount of flour.
- 2
Step 2

2. At this stage, place the dough in a warm spot, covering it with a clean towel. Let it rest for about 15–20 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

3. In a separate small bowl, lightly beat the egg and add salt. Add the egg to the dough.
- 4
Step 4

4. Now you can add vegetable oil and thoroughly mix the dough.
- 5
Step 5

5. Gradually add the flour, stirring the dough. When the dough begins to thicken, transfer it onto a table and knead thoroughly by hand.
- 6
Step 6

6. The finished dough can be set aside for a while to let it "rest" a little, or you can proceed to the next steps immediately.
- 7
Step 7

7. Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into small pieces of equal size.
- 8
Step 8

8. Each piece should be carefully flattened by hand to form a round flatbread. Place the resulting flatbreads on a floured surface.
- 9
Step 9

9. Now it's time to add the filling to the dough. This can be anything—mashed potatoes, stewed cabbage, rice with minced meat, fresh or canned fruits. Carefully place the filling in the center of the dough and seal the edges.
- 10
Step 10

10. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it well. Place the buns seam-side down into the pan.
- 11
Step 11

11. Fry the buns in a pan for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. The pan-fried buns are ready to serve at home. Place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil and let them cool slightly. Then serve.
