Meat-filled pastries made with puff pastry

60 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. The buns turn out crispy and incredibly delicious. Instead of meat, you can use absolutely any filling. Experiment with ingredients, and you'll be able to treat your loved ones to a delicious treat every week—one that even the most sophisticated critic won't be able to resist. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

Let the dough thaw for about 40 minutes.

  2. 2

    Step 2

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

  3. 3

    Step 3

Place the butter and diced potatoes into a saucepan. Fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Step 4

In another saucepan, add the beef and cook over medium heat until it turns brown.

  5. 5

    Step 5

While the meat is cooking, add finely chopped onion to the pot with the potatoes and continue frying.

  6. 6

    Step 6

When the potatoes start to become soft, add salt, pepper, and finely chopped garlic. Mix well.

  7. 7

    Step 7

Add the fried beef to the resulting mixture and mix well again.

  8. 8

    Step 8

Remove the resulting minced meat from the heat and set aside for now.

  9. 9

    Step 9

Place the thawed dough on the table and divide each of the four sheets into 6 pieces.

  10. 10

    Step 10

Place the filling onto the resulting rectangular (or square) pieces and cover with another piece on top. Thus, three pastries should be obtained from one sheet of puff pastry.

  11. 11

    Step 11

Using a fork, "seal" the edges of the buns (or pinch them with your fingers).

  12. 12

    Step 12

Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with beaten egg white to give them a nice golden color.

  13. 13

    Step 13

Cook for 18 minutes. Then flip the buns and cook for another 8-12 minutes until golden brown.

  14. 14

    Step 14

The buns should be well baked on both sides.
