Instructions

Step 1

In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar, and mix. Cut the butter into cubes and rub it into the flour. Then gradually add the milk—mixing after each teaspoon.
- 2
Step 2

Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead well by hand. Divide into small balls.
- 3
Step 3

Using a rolling pin, roll out the ball of dough into a thin layer.
- 4
Step 4

Using an inverted cup and a knife, cut circles from the rolled dough. The larger the cup's diameter, the bigger the resulting buns will be.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the excess dough. Then use it to make more balls for rolling out the pies.

Step 6

Now let's prepare the filling: peel boiled and cooled potatoes, mash them into a puree, then add tuna, finely chopped onion, pressed garlic, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and place a tablespoon of the mixture in the center of each circle.

Step 7

Then fold the dough in half and press the edges of the buns with a fork.

Transfer the buns to a plate. They can be served hot or cold.
