Quick-made buns
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. You can use both savory and sweet fillings. Canned fruits always turn out great in buns. I chose canned peaches. Another advantage is that this filling doesn't need any additional preparation. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Put flour, salt, and margarine cut into cubes into a bowl. Rub the margarine into the flour with your fingers until the mixture becomes crumbly.
- 2
Step 2

Stirring to prevent lumps, pour the water into the bowl. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes. Cover and set aside for 1 hour.
- 3
Step 3

After the time has elapsed, knead the dough again and divide it into several pieces the size of a lemon.
- 4
Step 4

Sprinkle the work surface with flour and roll out the dough into a thin layer.

Step 5

Open the can of canned peaches; if they are very large, cut them into smaller pieces. Place filling onto one half of each piece of rolled dough, cover with the other half, and press the edges together with a fork. Arrange on a baking sheet, brush the pastries with beaten egg, and place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Bake for about 20 minutes.

Step 6

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
