Tomato-filled buns
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. I'm sharing an original and simple recipe for tomato bomb pastry rolls! They turn out delicious: I've made these rolls with cottage cheese, hard cheese, and feta – each version is different, yet all are perfect. Isn't that a clear sign of a wonderful recipe? I highly recommend. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. Knead the dough from flour, water, and oil. Add salt and sugar, mix well. Divide the dough into two parts and set aside in the refrigerator for now.

Step 2

2. Take out one piece of dough, roll it into a large sheet of medium thickness. Arrange tomato pieces in a circle, then place feta cheese on top. Put a pinch of crushed garlic on each piece.

Step 3

3. Roll out another sheet from the second piece of dough, matching the size of the first one. Place it on top of the first sheet, then use a cutter (or a glass) to cut out the future buns. Seal the edges like dumplings or dumpling wrappers.

Step 4

4. These little pie-bombs can be baked, or fried on all sides in a large amount of oil to make donut-bombs.
