Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, sift the flour, add dry yeast, and mix.
- 2
Step 2

Add the egg, sugar, salt, warm whey, vegetable oil, and knead a soft, elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes. Place the dough in a clean, dry container, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 3
Step 3

After an hour, the dough has doubled in size, and the indentation made by pressing with a finger does not spring back.
- 4
Step 4

Divide the dough into 2 parts, one of which should be twice as large as the other. We will be baking two pies, so divide each part again into 2 equal parts. Roll out the larger piece into a round flatbread about 1 cm thick. Take half of the blueberries, roll them in the mixture of sugar and starch, and place them in the center of the flatbread, leaving a border around the edges.

Step 5

Roll out the smaller portion of the dough into an oval shape and make cuts using a lattice roller.
- 6
Step 6

Slightly stretch the resulting lattice over the diameter of the filling and place it on top. Pinch the edges of the bottom flatbread, bringing them up over the lattice. Form the second pie. Cover the pies and let them rest for half an hour. If desired, you can brush the top of the pie with beaten egg.

Step 7

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the pies for 25–30 minutes. Cool them on a wire rack under a towel. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
