Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Juicy sweet-and-sour apples work best for this recipe. Be sure to try making the pie “Flooded Apples.” Your family will love it. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare all ingredients right before you start cooking. Wash the apples thoroughly under running water.

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and sugar.

Using a mixer, beat these ingredients until the mixture is light and fluffy; I beat mine for 3 minutes.

Add the sour cream to the egg mixture and fold it in with a spatula.

Sift the flour with the baking powder.

Mix everything with a spatula until you have a smooth, airy batter that flows easily enough.

Peel the apples, remove the cores and seeds, and cut the flesh into small slices of whatever size you like.

Line the bottom of a parchment-lined baking pan with two thirds of the apple slices, spreading them in an even layer.

Distribute the remaining apples over the dough. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for 30–35 minutes.
