Pie
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. This pie is prepared in a slightly unconventional way, but don't be afraid—it's simple: even a child can handle it! Juicy, sweet-and-tart berries and tender dough... I recommend serving the finished pie warm, with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream. Be sure to try it! Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients for the pie. Clean and thoroughly wash the berries.
- 2
Step 2

Sift the flour and mix it with baking powder, sugar, zest (I used dried, but you can use fresh), and salt.
- 3
Step 3

Add the pieces of cold butter and rub everything into crumbs with your hands.
- 4
Step 4

Add milk, orange juice and mix. The batter should have a consistency similar to that of pourable pie batter.
- 5
Step 5

Prepare the filling. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and starch.
- 6
Step 6

Add the berries and gently mix.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the baking dish (mine is 15x24 cm) with butter and evenly spread the berries as the first layer. Then, place spoonfuls of batter on top, as shown in the photo.
- 8
Step 8

Place the pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes in this form.
- 9
Step 9

Our "Berry Puffs" pie is ready! Let it cool slightly, then serve. You can serve the pie either warm or cold. Optionally, you can serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Step 10

Ready. Serve at the table.
