Cherry Pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I really like baking made with lard. The dough turns out tender, fluffy, and very delicious. I'll tell you. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Dissolve the yeast in water with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Sift the flour, then add the egg, remaining sugar, oil, salt, and yeast mixture. Knead the dough until it's smooth and not sticky, cover with a lid, and let it rise for 90 minutes.
- 2
Step 2

The risen dough should double in volume.
- 3
Step 3

Divide the dough into 4 parts. Roll each part out very thinly into an oval. Brush with softened lard.
- 4
Step 4

Along the left side, place the dried cherries and roll tightly into a log.
- 5
Step 5

Roll the rolls into spirals and place them on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 90 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Then preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the cake for 25-30 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
