Pie with fresh berries
Description
The recipe won't take much time. You can use absolutely any berries. This makes the dish very versatile, allowing you to use seasonal produce. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Take the baking dish you'll use for the pie. Grease it thoroughly with butter, then generously sprinkle with breadcrumbs (or semolina).

Step 2

Now, in a deep bowl, use a mixer to beat the butter (must be at room temperature) with sugar until the mixture has a creamy consistency. Then add the egg and mix well again.

Step 3

Next, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add them to the butter and egg mixture. Mix thoroughly until you get a soft, smooth dough.

Step 4

Now place the dough into the previously prepared baking pan. Smooth it out evenly. Prepare the filling by mixing sugar and starch in a separate bowl. Add the berries (I use currants) and mix well. Carefully spread the filling over the dough in the pan. Bake the pie at medium oven temperature for about 20–30 minutes. Let it cool before serving.
