Blackcurrant jam pie in a multicooker
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. I made this pie using butter. Some people use margarine instead. However, in my opinion, the butter version turns out much tastier (while margarine makes it more budget-friendly). The dish has a pleasant tanginess from the blackcurrants and a fresh berry aroma. Serve with tea or coffee.

Step 1

Take the butter out of the fridge half an hour before cooking. Cut it into pieces and mix with sugar and eggs. Rub together, then add flour and baking powder to the same bowl.

Step 2

We knead a smooth and elastic dough with a soft consistency. It should not be too stiff. Wrap the dough ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour.

Step 3

I did it a bit smarter. I put the dough in the freezer for half an hour. Then I cut off two-thirds of the dough ball, rolled it out, and placed it into the multicooker pot. I made sure to create edges around the sides to hold the filling. On top, I poured the jam and sprinkled it with the remaining dough, torn into small crumbs.

Step 4

Set the "Baking" mode, time — 1 hour 20 minutes. As soon as the cake is ready, remove the bowl and let the mixture cool down (about 10 minutes). After that, the baked good can be easily removed without crumbling. Decorate the cake with berries when serving.
