Spinach and Dill Pie
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. For this pie, you can use either yeast dough or puff pastry—both options turn out equally tasty. I have a "go-to" recipe that works well for pizza and such pies: I use half a cup of milk, a pinch of salt, one teaspoon of sugar (without a heap), one teaspoon of instant dry yeast, and one and a half cups of flour. The dough only needs 30 minutes to rise, then it's ready to roll out and bake. As for the cheese, use any kind you like or have on hand. Processed cheese or hard cheese will work, but mozzarella tastes the best! Give it a try. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Wash all the greens thoroughly, remove the stems from the spinach, using only the leaves.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. I used Dutch cheese, which grates perfectly without freezing.
- 3
Step 3

Finely chop all the greens.
- 4
Step 4

In a deep bowl, combine the herbs with cheese and eggs, add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Mix the filling well.
- 6
Step 6

Line the pan with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 0.5-0.7 mm and place it in the pan, forming small edges.
- 7
Step 7

Evenly distribute the filling. Brush the edges with egg. Bake the pie in the oven for 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven.
- 8
Step 8

Let the finished cake cool slightly.
- 9
Step 9

Remove it from the parchment, cut into squares, and taste!
