Sweet pie with cottage cheese

Description

Crispy crust and tender cottage cheese filling complement each other perfectly. Preparation: In a large bowl, mix sugar, softened butter, flour, egg yolks, and lemon zest. Knead the dough. Roll out half of the dough into a square about 3-4 mm thick. Place the dough onto a baking sheet and bake in the oven until partially cooked. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, mashed egg yolks, and sugar. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the cottage cheese filling evenly over it. Roll out the second half of the dough into a similar square and place it on top of the first crust. Brush the pie with beaten egg and prick in several places. Bake until fully cooked.
