Pie with frozen cherries
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. Grandma usually made this pie with fresh cherries, but in winter she used canned cherries, which gave it a slightly different taste. Nowadays, fresh berries can easily be frozen and used any time of year to make delicious pies, rolls, and other treats. Today I'll share with you my grandma's recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the eggs with sugar using a hand whisk. There's no need to beat them too much—we're not making a sponge cake after all.
- 3
Step 3

Now pour the kefir into the egg mixture and add the baking soda, mix everything well.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the margarine into small pieces, place in a saucepan and melt over low heat. Add the margarine to the kefir mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Add the flour and mix the dough well with a spoon. It will turn out sticky and not thick.
- 6
Step 6

Set aside a small piece of dough, place the rest into a silicone baking mold and smooth it out. Place the cherries on top.
- 7
Step 7

Add flour to the remaining dough and knead until elastic. Use it to form a lattice pattern on the surface of the pie. Place the pie in the oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.

Step 8

The pie is ready.
