Apple and prune pie
Description
The recipe won't take much time. For convenience, I decided to measure ingredients in cups instead of grams, as is usually done. I find this easier, since not everyone has kitchen scales, but everyone has cups :) So it'll be very easy to keep the proportions right. I first tried this cake in a lovely little café, where it was included in their "100 dishes to try before you die" list :) At home, I tried recreating it from memory—and it turned out almost the same, fortunately, as the recipe is quite simple. This cake really is delicious: apples, prunes, and honey perfectly balance each other, and there's not much flour, so the cake turns out relatively light. Plus, it's easy to make. So honestly, I see no reason to deprive yourself of such a treat :) Let's get baking, sweet tooths! The recipe for apple and prune cake is presented below. Good luck! Serve cooled or slightly warm.
