
Cherry pie made with puff pastry
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This is a very original way to make a cherry pie using puff pastry with an incredibly delicate almond cream. It's hard to resist such a dessert—appetizing berries, soft cream, and crispy pastry. A great baking option for the whole family. Serve with tea or coffee.

1. First of all, prepare the cream. To make it, beat the sugar with butter until smooth. Add almond flour and beat again. Then gradually add the eggs, continuing to beat the mixture. Add a pinch of vanilla. You can also add citrus zest—orange or lemon—to the recipe for the cherry pie made with puff pastry. Place the finished cream in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (you can leave it overnight).

2. Wash the cherries, dry them thoroughly, remove the stems and pits.

3. Roll out the puff pastry slightly and prick it all over with a fork. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the pastry sheet on it.

4. Spread a thin layer of cream over the surface of the dough. Place the berries on top. The classic recipe for cherry pie with puff pastry is an open-style pie, but if desired, you can decorate the top with pastry designs.
