Cheesecake with apples
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. The cake itself turns out moist and slightly wet due to the apples, which are arranged in a fan shape on top. You can use sweeter or more tart apple varieties. Use low-fat cottage cheese and be sure to press it through a sieve to avoid lumps. Serve the ready cottage cheese and apple pie warm with a scoop of ice cream or with whipped cream, though it's delicious on its own as well. It can be served with tea or coffee.
