Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Puff pastry comes in two types: yeast-free and yeast-based. It all depends on your preferences. If you want the pie to be more voluminous, then go for the yeast-based one. That's exactly the type of dough we need for our pie. So, let's move on to the recipe. Can be served with tea or coffee.

Instructions

    Step 1

Place the puff pastry in advance to thaw at room temperature. The fish pie will be of the closed type, so when the puff pastry has thawed, cut it into two parts.

    Step 2

Work on the filling. Dice the onion and sauté for 6 minutes until soft. Cut the salmon into small squares and add to the onion to cook. Season with salt and pepper.

    Step 3

    Step 3

Place the dough on a greased baking form (roll it out if necessary), then add the filling of salmon and onion on top. You will definitely need to roll out the second layer of dough. Cover the filling with it, seal the edges of this fish pie. Most importantly, leave a small hole on top.

After 35 minutes, the pie will be ready—you'll know it yourself by the wonderful aroma and golden crust.
