Salmon, Feta and Spinach Pie

Description

Pies with red fish are my passion. The taste of red fish baked in pastry is impossible to put into words—you just have to try it. One of my favorites is a pie with salmon, feta, and spinach; to my mind, the combination of ingredients is practically perfect—there’s nothing to add, and nothing to take away. A perfect dish from a culinary standpoint. If you have ready-made semi-prepared dough on hand, making such a pie won’t be a problem even for a beginner cook. Good luck with the preparation! ;) It can be served with tea or coffee.

    1. Wash the spinach, pat dry, then sauté for a few minutes in a skillet (with butter added).

    2. Steam the salmon, let it cool, and break it into pieces.

    3. Boil the eggs hard, peel them, and dice into small cubes.

    4. Grease the baking pan with sunflower oil. Roll out the dough so it is twice the size of the bottom of the pan. Place the dough in the bottom of the pan, leaving part of it hanging over the sides. Spread the eggs on top.

    5. Arrange the spinach and salmon, then place slices of brynza on top.

    7. Make slits in the dough for steam to escape. Bake the pie in the oven for 30 minutes at 200°C.
